Juicy and filled with citrus fruit flavours. The use of French oak imparts a creamy texture that balances the lively acid line to still retain remarkable freshness.

Chardonnay grapes from low yielding vines are hand picked at optimal ripeness and gently whole-bunch pressed. The free-run juice is settled overnight and barrelled in French oak barriques, of which about 40% are new for fermentation. Partial malolactic fermentation takes place thereafter as well as gentle stirring of the lees. The wine spends 10 months in barrels on full lees to further develop complexity and texture. Only the finest barrels that best reflect the expression of site are selected to create the final blend.
