The Expressions range showcases the diversity of Tasmania's wine-growing regions. Our 2024 Pinot Noir has been crafted with exceptional fruit from the Coal River Valley. It displays a complex palate full of ripe berry fruits, fine tannins, and subtle oak, all combing to provide a palate of balance, texture, and persistence.

Pinot Noir from low-yielding vines is hand-harvested at optimal ripeness during the cool morning hours and promptly transported to the winery. The fruit is carefully placed in open-top fermenters in small batches, incorporating varying proportions of whole bunches to add complexity and depth of flavor. A cold soak lasting 3 to 5 days precedes a steady, wild yeast fermentation, during which gentle daily pump-overs help enhance colour extraction, tannin structure and develop aromatic complexity. The resulting wines are aged in French oak barriques of which 35% are new for a period of 8 months.
Only the finest barrels that best reflect the expression of site are selected to create the final blend.
